I have Started to blog because…..
I have started blogging because i was sent to budapest by the British Government inorder to learn all about e-Participation, Social Inclusion, Democratic Engagement.
After a talk about the power of blogging and how to do it…..i am now joining the ranks as it were!!!

I’m BEN ROGERS aged 17 and living in England, UK.
I’m currently the DMYP (Deputy Member of Youth Parliament) for Lichfield & Chase in Staffordshire. I live in one of the outlying towns of Lichfield. Lichfield has been my hometown since i was born. I go to the Friary school in Lichfield.
Over the last few years i have work with many different organisations (for free) who work with or for Young People. These include: Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Youth Service, Connexions Staffordshire, YAK (Youth Action Kouncil in Staffordshire), i have also been involved in a lot of other events and organisations over the last few years, these include: Peer mentoring in School, World-vision (famine strikes), Chasewater Railway in Staffordshire and some other organisations.
